Lost in Lima Ohio wasn't ever intended to be a crime blog, but took on a life of it's own and now covers anything from missing persons to sex crimes to murders. Perverted Primates is a spin off site, dedicated to sex crimes only.
Yes, I'm really in Lima Ohio. Okay, not really- but close enough to actually call at least one blog by the name, so there. Deal with it.
Though I may write mostly about any sort of crime that tweeks my interest, I spend a lot of time focusing on sex crimes- both in blogging and research. Which has given me a bullet proof idea on how to stop this entire "catch and release" crap our justice system plays with repeated sex offender. Hold on to your pants for this one... it's freaking rock science type of problem solving:
Catch them, lock them up and STOP releasing them.
I know... you're shocked at this concept. Not only will it reduce repeat offenders, but it will completely eliminate the need to constantly check the SORs. Because we won't have any SOR. Because they freaks who would have been on the list- WILL BE IN JAIL, where they belong.
But back to the "about me" thing. I'm just a woman (yes, a WOMAN- I know... some of you thought I was a man, although I'm not sure HOW you came to that conclusion) with a lot of thoughts on a lot of subjects who happens to be addicted to police scanners and true crime sites.
I love America's Most Wanted, those To Catch a Pervert shows by Dateline, and Reese Peanut Butter Cups. I hate pedophiles, Ricky Martin and ribs.
I'm friendly and outgoing... but I'll also check your name on the SOR as soon as I get to a computer with internet access.
